About
Software built by people who know business from the inside
MTV GROUP is a software development and IT services company based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since 2017 we have worked with clients in Bulgaria and across Europe.
Our story
MTV GROUP grew out of hands-on experience. For more than twenty years, our founder Vasile Tabacaru led operations in international companies, in more than ten countries, with teams of over 800 people.
From inside those operations, he kept seeing the same problem: capable people losing hours to spreadsheets, paperwork and manual reports, and systems that did not talk to each other. Ready-made tools were either too generic or too rigid for the way the work was actually done.
So he began building the tools the business really needed: multilingual web platforms, mobile apps for teams in the field, AI automation for documents and accounting. Every one of them came from a concrete problem he had faced as a manager.
That experience led him to found MTV GROUP in 2017. We build software the way an operations manager would want it: starting from the process, practical in daily use, and judged by the time it saves and the errors it prevents.
For years I sat on the other side of the table, as the manager who needed better tools. Today we build the tools I always wanted to have.
How we are organised
The founder personally coordinates every project and is your single point of contact. For each project we assemble the right specialists from our network of affiliated teams: backend and frontend developers, mobile developers, designers and testers.
This way the team matches the size of your project, and the same standards apply everywhere: code review, automated tests, security and documentation.
What we stand for
Operator thinking
We measure software by what it changes in everyday work, not by how impressive it looks.
Honesty
We promise only what we can deliver, and we tell you early when something changes.
Clarity
Plain language, decisions in writing and frequent demos.
Security by default
Access control, encryption and backups are built into every system.
What the M means
The letter M in our logo is built from four separate pieces: two vertical bars and two slanted ones. Each piece has its own role, and together they make one whole. That is how we think of a good system: clear parts, connected the right way.
From Sofia, for clients in any country
We work remotely and communicate in English, Russian and Italian. The apps we build can run in as many languages as your business requires.
